A facade is a skin: when it cracks, water gets in and the damage spreads inside. We start by finding the cause of the cracks, then repair, repoint or re-render with a finish suited to the wall.

The paperwork
A facade renovation requires a prior declaration in protected areas (near a listed monument, in a heritage site) or when the town council has decided so. We check with your town hall before quoting.
Good to know
On a home more than two years old, this work generally qualifies for the reduced 10% VAT rate. Old stone walls need to breathe: a cement render on them traps moisture, which is why we use lime.
